The Influence of KEMI’s Capacity Building Programme on Head Teachers’ Competencies in Financial Management in Public Primary Schools in Uasin Gishu

Aims: The objective of the study was to examine influence KEMI’s capacity building programme on head teachers’ competencies in financial management
 Study Design: adopted concurrent triangulation design where both quantitative and qualitative approaches were employed collect information do analysis at same time.
 Place Duration Study: This conducted Uasin Gishu County North Rift region. county lies within latitude: 0° 31' 0.00" N longitude: 35° 16' 59.88" E. carried out between May 2019 October 2019
 Methodology: targeted six sub-county education officers 471 teachers public primary schools county. Simple random sampling choosing 30% (141) proportionately from each sub-counties Every teacher selected took part this study. Data also gathered all directors Moiben, Kesses, Turbo, Kapseret, Ainabkoi Soy. collected using interviews questionnaire.
 Results: Findings indicated that there a moderate positive correlation KEMI teachers' competency management. had significant management (r (132) = .309, p< .0005). Thus hypothesis (Ho4) rejected can be explained further by stating exists relationship.
 Conclusion: findings shows helped understanding budgeting, auditing books accounts, income generating activities improved accountability transparency finance. keeping up date inventories. enhanced adherence school budget appreciate need for constituting tendering committee.
